Alia is 4 years old and has developed a condition called aplastic anaemia where her bone marrow has shut down completely.
She needed a bone marrow transplant and they were lucky enough to find a cord blood match in NYC.
However, a few weeks after the transplant, they were told that it has failed.
She therefore urgently needs another transplant.
Her family are now asking you to think about registering as bone marrow donors.
It's not just for Aila, there are thousands of minority children out there who are unable to find matches because not enough donors from minorities come forward.
We can't just let these children die when there is hope of a cure out there.
